Professional Insight
A significant part of my job involves reading, engaging, and lighting the human face through a lens. This world excites me and has been my passion for over 25 years. Throughout my career, I've traveled across the globe, contributing to wonderful stories and ideas. The creative aspect of filmmaking and collaborating with talented individuals is everything to me. It's the talent people bring to their work that is truly enlightening.
Looking through the camera and engaging directly with the story is an intimate privilege. It makes the difference between merely looking and truly seeing.
Despite my extensive career in the film industry, I can't shake my art college background. It has given me a restless spirit, and as a result, I continue to be both a photographer and a painter.
I'm based in Devon after many years living in London and have two wonderful sons, Tristan and Rowan.
